Mortal Kombat 4 or MK4 is the fourth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series of fighting games. First one was originally released to arcades in 1997. Number 4 is the last game of the series to have an arcade release. The MK4 is extremely versatile, packed with unique abilities and powerful characters to inflict pain onto your enemies.

Gameplay of MK4

Mortal Kombat 4 is played in a similar way to the previous titles from the series; the run button and combos are still used. You get great 3D graphics similar to War Robots APK.

But the characters are still restricted to a 2D path. MK4 introduces a limited weapon system, allowing each character to take out a special weapon using a set button combination.

The weapons are primarily used through the punch buttons once equipped. This includes swinging, clubbing, or even tossing the weapons.

The weapons can also be purposely dropped, in a similar fashion to the arena objects such as severed heads and rocks. The other character is able to pick it up and use it, if an opponent’s weapon is dropped. Tekken 3 has the similar gameplay, do check it as well.

MK4 added a “Maximum Damage” cap to the game’s combo system. It automatically breaks combos if they deal over a set amount of damage to a player. It prevents infinite combos (although this cap can be removed with a code).

Mortal Kombat 4 only has two Fatalities per character, unlike Mortal Kombat Trilogy which contained multiple finishing moves of various kinds. Two Stage Fatalities that can only be done in certain areas and involve the winning character throwing their opponent into a part of the arena where they are killed.
